Our Toddler/Pre-School Room (21 months – 5 years)

Our Toddler-Pre-School room is a large, purpose-built, bright and sunny room where the children have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities designed to encourage them to learn whilst playing. We have a lovely cosy book corner, a well-equipped role-play area, a writing area, a computer as well as lots of space for messy and general play. This room can accommodate twenty children at any time with a member of staff for every four children. This ensures lots of care and attention is given to every child we care for.

The nursery has a beautiful large garden where the children are able to explore. We have a stream and nature area which provides lots of opportunities for the children to explore. We have a fantastic vegetable garden in which the children are very involved, becoming enthusiastic gardeners!

We also have an outdoor classroom which has greatly enhanced the life of the nursery and the service we can give. Meaning that we can offer free-flow play every day, bringing us right up to date with the requirements of the EYFS. We have already seen huge benefits from this and are developing and evolving this new addition to the nursery all the time.
